sharp.works

An AI-implementation studio: intelligent systems, built and shipped, not theorised.

What it is

sharp.works is a small studio that builds intelligent systems: custom AI, taken from concept to production. It’s implementation, not slideware. The thing others theorise, actually shipped.

How it works

  • Products: custom AI solutions that solve a real problem, built end to end.
  • Consulting: strategic guidance from the people who build, not a deck handed over at the end.
  • Research: proofs of concept that push at what’s newly possible, kept practical.

Small by design: senior practitioners only, a handful of people on any one project, and you talk to whoever’s building it. No committees, no bureaucracy. Just execution.

Across sectors

The problems worth solving rarely stay in one industry. The work has spanned:

  • AI & sovereign AI: intelligent systems built to be owned and controlled, the model and the data staying with the people who rely on them.
  • Real-time consumer platforms: high-performance systems serving huge audiences, and the contact-centre backbone behind them: email and mailbox management, real-time chat, and the routing that gets each message to the right place.
  • Transport & mobility: a routing and booking platform for coach travel.
  • Life sciences: API portals for consuming health data, and mobile apps for tracking it.
  • Aviation: the billing systems airports use to charge airlines for what they use.
  • Defence & government: high-assurance work, where trust, provenance and discretion come first.
Abstract motifs for the sectors the studio has worked across: AI, real-time platforms, transport, life sciences, aviation and defence.

Much of it stays confidential. Discretion is part of the job.
