Tenderoo

What it is

Tenderoo finds UK public-sector tenders and scores how well each one fits your business — so you only spend time on the ones you can realistically win. It watches the official sources, Find a Tender and Contracts Finder, and reads every notice the way an experienced bid reviewer would.

The problem

Public tenders are scattered across portals, written in dense procurement language, and mostly wrong for any given supplier. Keyword-alert tools email you a list and stop there — leaving the real questions (is this worth bidding? can we even meet the requirements?) to you. Smaller suppliers miss winnable work simply because triaging it is a full-time job.

The whole job, not just the alert

Tenderoo runs the full path from discovery to decision:

• Live tenders — every live notice from Find a Tender and Contracts Finder, filtered to your sector rather than a generic keyword feed.
• Fit score — a 0–100 score from a fixed six-factor rubric (service, location, capacity, public-sector experience, deadline, strategic fit). Auditable by design: you can see exactly why a tender scored the way it did, not a black-box number.
• Tender brief — a one-page report per opportunity: why it matches, what’s missing, and what to do next.
• Blockers — the things that would sink a bid, surfaced up front: a lapsed accreditation, a region you don’t cover, a deadline you can’t hit.
• Accreditations — tracks SSIP, CHAS, Constructionline, Cyber Essentials, ISO and the rest, and flags which each tender needs.
• Outreach & tracking — AI-drafted intros to buyers, and a simple pipeline board to run bids from open to won.

What I built

I designed and built Tenderoo end to end — product, design and engineering — on a modern edge stack (React Router, Hono and Cloudflare Workers), with a provider-agnostic AI layer doing the reading and scoring behind an auditable rubric.

On mobile

A native app is next on the roadmap — the radar and pipeline for checking between jobs, and the full fit report for deciding on the spot whether a tender is worth your evening.
